The media remote allows you to navigate your PlayStation®5 console and access media and apps without a wireless controller.

You'll need to pair your media remote to your PS5 console before you can use it:

A ) TV volume buttons Turns the volume on your TV up and down.

B ) (microphone) button (Reserved for future use)

C ) IR transmitter Transmits infrared signals to your TV.

D ) TV power button Turns the TV power on/off.

F ) Directional buttons Highlight an item on your screen.

G ) ENTER button Press to select or confirm your selection.

H ) (back) button Press to go back or cancel your selection.

I ) (options) button Works just like the (options) button on your wireless controller.

J ) (fast reverse) button Fast reverse music and video playback when in fullscreen or in picture-in-picture or pin to side screen layout. Depending on the app, you can use this button to skip to the next track.

(play/pause) button Play/Pause music and video playback when in fullscreen or in picture-in-picture or pin to side screen layout.

(fast forward) button Fast forward music and video playback when in fullscreen or in picture-in-picture or pin to side screen layout. Depending on the app, you can use this button to go back to the previous track.

K ) Service launch buttons Quickly access streaming music and video apps with a single press.

L ) (PS) button Works just like the PS button on your wireless controller.
