So as to not interfere and minimize interference by other wireless devices, the IOGEAR 60GHz Wireless 4K Ultra HD Video Extender operates on the 60GHz frequency band. By utilizing this band, the extender is a dedicated, closed wireless system exclusively for your AV needs. In addition, its directional antenna’s use beamforming technology to send a more direct signal between the transmitter and the receiver.

The GW4K30GH60 can not only stream 4K UHD video but also supports Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, and LPCM digital audio streaming up to 7.1 surround sound channels with HBR lossless audio.
